| Description | The histamine H4-receptor is observed in eosinophils and couples to Gi-proteins to mediate pro-inflammatory effects. The H4-receptor participats in the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma and itching. cH4R reconstituted with Gi-proteins and the RGS-Protein GAIP was prepared from Sf9 cells coinfected with rH4R- and Gi- and GAIP-encoding baculoviruses. cH4R contains a N-terminal FLAG-tag and a C-terminal hexahistidine (His6)-tag for immunological detection, to allow purification and to provide additional protection against proteolysis.
