| Description | Purity >98%. Scoparone is a constituent of the Chinese herb Artemisia and has been identified as having anticoagulant, hypolipidemic, vasorelaxant, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory actions in experimental models. It has been investigated for its bilirubin enhancing effect in up-regulating bilirubin excretion enzymes, such as sulfotransferase or UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1A1. It has also been shown to suppress nitric oxide, prostaglandin E2 , and inflammatory cytokine production, as well as to attenuate IgE-mediated allergic response in mast cells and to inhibit passive cutaneous anaphylaxis in rats. |
