Description | BST-1 Monoclonal Antibody (KT157), FITC. Bone marrow stromal cell antigen 1 (BST1) is a stromal cell line-derived glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored molecule that facilitates pre-Bcell growth. BST1, which is also known as ADP-rybosyl cyclase 2 and DAMP-1, is an enzyme which is expressed by BST1 gene in human. BST1 expression is enhanced in bone marrow stromal cell lines derived from patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The polyclonal Bcell abnormalities in rheumatoid arthritis may be, at least in part, attributed to BST1 overexpression in the stromal cell population. |
