Description | Coronin 1A Monoclonal Antibody (OTI1A5). Highly conserved coronin family of proteins/actin regulators from WD-repeat superfamily were originally identified in Dictyostelium, wherein, coronin deletions were observed to affect actin-dependent processes, such as phagocytosis, cell motility, and cytokinesis. Coronin-1A (Coro1A) belongs to Type I coronins, almost exclusively expressed in hematopoietic lineages, and plays a key role during T lymphocyte activation, migration, survival, and calcium signaling. Moreover, Coronin-1A has been documented to be dispensable for actin-dependent functions in macrophages. Coro1a-deficient mice have reduced peripheral T cells due to both an impaired survival of naive cells and migrational defects. Both CD4+ a |
