The reduced monomer consists of 547 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 60.3 kDa. By SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhDR6/Fc monomer is approximately 95-100 kDa due to the glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Leu 350) of human DR6 (NP_055267.1) precursor was expressed with the fused Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. |
