Recombinant human Angiostatin is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 259 amino acids and having a molecular mass of ~30kD. rHuAng K1-3 is a proteolytic fragment of plasminogen containing the first three kringle structures. It is more active relative to kringles 1-4. rHuAng K1-3 is a specific inhibitor of endothelial cell growth and angiogenesis. It reduces endothelial cell proliferation and acts as a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis and tumor growth.
