| Description | The Angiotensin 1-7 (Ang1-7) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of Ang1-7 in rat serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 7.813-500pg/ml Sensitivity: <4.688pg/ml Precision: Intra-Assay CV: <8% Inter-Assay CV: <10% Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Ang1-7. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Ang1-7. Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Ang1-7, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated streptavidin complex will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. Th |
