| Description | The main function of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) is transforming angiotensin I into angiotensin II, and the latter can raise blood pressure. The activity of ACE can increase during most active stage of sarcoidosis. Serum ACE mainly derives from capillary vessel endothelial cells of lung and ACE can change dramaticlly with acute lung injury. So the change of serum ACE can be used as an important index of measuring the extent of pulmonary injury caused by all kinds of factors. Sample Type: Serum, plasma Intended Use: This kit can be used for in vitro quantitative determination of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) in serum, plasma. Sensitivity: The detection limits ≤5.1U/L. Range: 0-150U/L (Judgment basis: r2≥0.990) Test Principle: The maximum absorption peak of FAP is 340nm wavelength.
