| Product Name | KLF12, Recombinant, Human, aa1-402, His-Tag (Krueppel-Like Factor 12) |
| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). KLF12, as known as Krueppel-like factor 12, is a member of the Kruppel-like zinc finger protein family and can repress expression of the AP-2 alpha gene by binding to a specific site in the AP-2 alpha gene promoter. Activator protein-2 alpha (AP-2 alpha) is a developmentally-regulated transcription factor and important regulator of gene expression during vertebrate development and carcinogenesis. Repression by the encoded protein requires binding with a corepressor, CtBP1. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-402 from human KLF12, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~46.6kD (425aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
