| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma and tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of human complement C2(C2) concentrations in serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 0.97ng/ml Range: 3.9-250ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human C2. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human C2 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with C2. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for C2. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated C2 and C2 in samples.
