| Product Name | KIR2DL4, Recombinant, Human, aa24-242, hIgG-His-tag |
| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). KIR2DL4, also known as killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 2DL4, is a member of the killer cell Ig-like receptor (KIR) family. KIR proteins with the long cytoplasmic domain transduce inhibitory signals via an immune tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM), while KIR proteins with the short lack the ITIM motif and instead associate with the TYRO protein tyrosine kinase binding protein to transduce activating signals. This protein induces NK cells to produce IFN-gamma and stimulation with IL-2 upregulates cell surface expression on CD56dim cells and leads to the inhibition of the cytolytic NK cell function. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-242 from human KIR2DL4, fused to hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~51kD (458aa), 50-70kD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.) Endotoxin: <1EU/1ug (determined by LAL method) AA |
