| Product Name | IdhA, Recombinant, E. coli, aa1-329, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Idha, also known as D-lactate dehydrogenase, belongs to the D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family. In enzymology, a D-lactate dehydrogenase (cytochrome) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction. Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are (D)-lactate and ferricytochrome c, whereas its two products are pyruvate and ferrocytochrome c. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-329 from E. coli IdhA, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~39.1kD (353aa) Specific Activity: >200units/mg, one unit will convert 1umole of pyruvate to L-lactate and beta-NAD/minute at pH 7.5 at 37°C. AA |
