The reduced monomer consists of 556 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 61.7 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, rh FST/Fc monomer migrates as an approximately 70 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the human FST isoform FST344 (NP_037541.1) (Met 1-Trp 344) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. |
