| Description | Recognizes the integrin beta 1 chain which is a membrane glycoprotein (130kD) that can complex with the 6 different alpha-chains of the VLA's. It is also known as VLA beta 1-chain and the fibronectin receptor. The antigen is not expressed on erythrocytes and only weakly stains granulocytes. Antigen distribution: T-cells 40 + 10% CD4+ cells 40 + 20% CD8+ cells 40 + 15% B cells 20 + 5% |
