| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Human plasma was used for the purification of IgE. IgG was prepared by ammonium sulfate precipitation, column chromatography (Sephadex and DEAE-ion exchange columns) and affinity chromatography. The resulting preparation was judged to be >96% pure by IEP and SDS-Page. Purified IgE produced a single arc against anti-human serum and anti-human IgE. It does not react with anti-human IgA, IgD, IgG and IgM in IEP assay. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA (coating) or as a control for other immunological assay, Dot Blot, Western Blot. |
