| Description | KLF10 Monoclonal Antibody (3E11). KLF10 is a nuclear protein belonging to the Sp1 C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family with three C2H2-type zinc fingers. KLF10 is a transcriptional repressor involved in the regulation of cell growth and inhibits cell growth. It binds to the consensus sequence 5'-GGTGTG-3' and is induced by TGF-beta thus playing a role in linking TGF-beta-mediated signaling cascades to the regulation of pancreatic epithelial cell growth. KLF10 is involved in inducing and promoting apoptosis through the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway and may inhibit Smad7 expression in bronchial epithelial cells.
