| Description | WNT1 Polyclonal Antibody. The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes which encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. Wnt1 is a cysteine rich secreted glycoprotein that associates with cell membranes and likely functions as a key regulator of cellular adhesion. Wnt1 is essential for normal development of the embryonic nervous system and its expression is normally limited to the embryonic neurol tube and adult spermatids. |
