| Description | WNT1 Polyclonal Antibody. Wnt1, formerly known as int1, is a 343 amino acid non-glycosylated secreted protein associated with the extracellular matrix, involved in normal embryonic development and particularly linked with breast cancer. Wnt1, which signals through binding to the Frizzled family of transmembrane receptors, was originally identified as a protooncogene implicated in carcinomas induced by the mouse mammary tumour virus (MMTV). Wnt1 belongs to a family of Wnt genes involved in the dorsoventricular development of the mesoderm during embryogenesis, with a restricted temporal and spatial pattern of expression. |
