| Description | IRF2 Polyclonal Antibody. IRF2 belongs to the interferon regulatory factor family. IRF2 regulates the transcription regulation important to cell proliferation as well as immune responses by binding to the upstream regulatory region of type I IFN and IFNinducible MHC class I genes (the interferon consensus sequence (ICS)) and repression of those genes. However, IRF2 also functions as a transcriptional activator of histone H4 by interactions with NF-kappa B. |
