| Description | Purity ≥ 85% by scanning SDS-PAGE. Purified by affinity and ion exchange chromatography. GPBB-sensitive marker for the AMI diagnosis within 4 hours after the onset of chest pain. It has also been shown that GPBB increased in a considerable proportion of AMI patients within 2-3 hours from chest pain onset. GPBB increased early in patients with unstable angina. GPBB can be also a sensitive marker for the detection of peri-operative myocardial ischaemia and infraction in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting. Applications: Suitable in immunological protocols or as a marker for the AMI research studies. Can be also a marker for peri-operative myocardial ischemia and infarction in coronary artery bypass grafting. Molecular Weight: ~85kD for each subunit |
