| Description | Purity >95%. BW B70C is an orally bioavailable and selective inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO). In vivo, it inhibits acute and allergic bronchoconstriction, glycoconjugate secretion, and late-phase eosinophil accumulation induced by allergen inhalation in guinea pigs. BW B70C reduces LPS-induced expression of iNOS, NO production, and NF-?B activation in BV2 microglial cells. Administration of BW B70C (3 mg/kg) before or after ischemia reduces neurological deficits in a rat model of ischemic stroke. It also inhibits iNOS expression and NO production in vivo . |
