| Description | Purity >98%. Diacylglycerol (DAG) is an important cellular source of arachidonic acid which may be released by the action of DAG lipase (DAGL). RHC-80267 is a selective inhibitor of DAGL (IC50 = 4 µM in canine platelets) that demonstrates relatively weak inhibition of phospholipases A2 and C. By elevating the concentration of diacylglycerol, RHC-80267 is thought to initiate activation of protein kinase C. At 0.3-1 µM, it has been reported to enhance acetylcholine-induced smooth muscle relaxation in vitro . |
