| Description | IL3 protein.Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a cytokine produced by activated Tcells and mast cells that has been shown to stimulate renewal of pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells and to be apotent regulator of many hematopoietic cell lineages.It is involved in stimulating inducible hematopoiesis in response to parasite infections, and it has also been implicated in the pathogenesis of several chronic inflammatorydiseases, including asthma, and neurodegenerative disorders, such as multiple sclerosis.Recombinant human IL-3 produced in E. coli is a single,non-glycosylated form of human IL-3 polypeptide chaincontaining 133 amino acids and having a molecular massof 15 kDa.IL-3 is purified by proprietary chromatographictechniques.
